Massimo Fusaro

Rome – Italy

Massimo Fusaro has been a photographer for more than 30 years. For several years he worked as a stage photographer with the “Denoma” Dance Company, for which he created several works that were subsequently shown in exhibitions and published on magazines.

His spirit is one of untiring artistic research. In this view, he also worked with several artists, among them the poet G. Marzaioli (Rome), the sculptor Alton Falcone (Boston), the performer R. De Novellis (Paris). These cultural contaminations have led, over time, to works such as “aM”, published in 2003, which in turn inspired “cortografie”, a short film presented to the public in the same year. Then “backstage” (2003) and “Reflection”, published in 2004. A performance from the same work has been staged in italian and european theatres. The same project has been also featured on magazine. In 2006 he published “Signs”, followed in 2009 by “TRASH” and “2Fe3O4”, then “Zèza”, “Skin” (2011) and “Multiples” (2013). In 2021 he realized “Urban gateways”.

He is a member of the “La Camera Verde” group of artists in Rome.

His work has been also published in plaquette format (Editions M.me Webb) and as part of several exhibitions in Italy and abroad. Among others, particulary distinguished the one hosted by “ART Space” Gallery – M50 Art District, Shanghai, 2013.
